Parenting
The
PA are holding a lecture titled “Practical Parenting”
and is aimed at the Junior School parents. This will be held
on 10th October by Ms Sheila O’Malley.
The lecture will take place at 9.00 am after drop-off and
will last approximately 1-2 hours.
Sheila
O’Malley is one of Ireland’s leading Parenting
experts who established Practical Parenting to offer support
and training to Parents. She facilitates many corporate programs
and delivers talks around personal and family wellbeing.
Sheila
is a well regarded contributor on Radio and TV. In addition,
she is a former Parenting correspondent for Independent Newspapers.
She is renowned for her practical, empathetic, professional
and balanced approach. Sheila was trained by Dr Tony Humphreys
and is a qualified Parent and Relationships Mentor

Whys - Understanding Eating Disorders
A
talk given by Body Whys is being organised for November,
date and time to be confirmed. The provisional title of the
talk is "Understanding Eating Disorders, Promoting a
positive image amongst young people."
Body
Whys is a voluntary organisation supporting people affected
by eating disorders.
