Our 6th Years graduated on Wednesday the 22nd of May 2013 with a Mass celebrated by Monsignor Richard Mohan of Lough Derg in the Junior School Hall, followed by dinner for students, parents and staff in the Sports Hall. Our 2013 Valedictorians Katie Murphy and Patrick Geoghegan are pictured below. Please also see “6th year photos” below.
The 6th Year is the final leg of the Leaving Certificate Programme. As the most senior group in our school 6th Years are the role models for our younger students. As prefects and Ambassadors, they have had the opportunity to show leadership in many areas of school life.
This is an action-packed year with lots of deadlines as students have to prepare for mocks, practical exams and oral exams. The students need to be a great support to each other and, along with their teachers and their parents, work together to ensure success in their June exams.
