to Hayley O’Sullivan of 2nd Year on her success on being
awarded a place in the Royal Academy Orchestra.

recognition of her talent is most merited and we wish Hayley

GERARD’S - ALL IRELAND SAILING CHAMPIONS! (02/10/2007)
Congratulations
to the School Sailing team on winning the All Ireland Sailing
Regatta Championships held in the Sutton Sailing Club at the
weekend. The members of the winning team are:

Ian Byrne (3rd Year)
Oisin O’Neill (2nd Year)
Well
done also to Ronan McGovern who came 3rd in the Individual
Championships. This is a great honour for the school.

JUMPING EVENT RESULTS (29/09/2007)
Well
done to the St. Gerard's Green Team who came second in the
Inaugural St. Gerard's Showjumping event held at Boswell Equestrian
Centre, Saturday 29th September 2007. The members of the team

Sincere congratulations to everyone who participated
in the Sugarloaf Race, enhanced the school Table Quiz with
their participation and celebrated the St. Gerard’s
Mass with us in such a positive atmosphere yesterday.
This was a truly memorable St. Gerard’s
Day for everyone involved.
A sincere word of thanks to all of the Staff,
Teaching and Sports, as well as the Prefects who put so much
work in to making it such a successful day.

Many congratulations to the Senior Hockey
Team on their excellent win over Loreto Dalkey on Tuesday.
Much credit must go to the team on their application and skill
level and indeed the win was much deserved.
As always many thanks to Cathy McKean and
Sarah Scott for the preparation of the team.

who were so positive, vocal and well-mannered during the match.
