Schools U18 Rugby (24th September 2009)
Many
congratulations to Jack Conan (5th Year) who has been selected
on the Leinster Schools U 18 Team to play Ulster, Munster
& Connaught in the interprovincial series.

Congratulaions to Josh Glynn (6th Year) on his selection to
the Leinster School Under 19 Rugby Team to play Bedford Schools
on Saturday the 12th of September and also congratulations
to Adam Bowtell (6th Year) has been selected for the Leinster
Under 19 Youths team for their upcoming games.

selected for the Leinster U 20’s Team who are playing
the Italian U 20’s In Italy this week.

wish Steven every success and we congratulate him on this
wonderful achievement.

Under 16 Hockey (21st September 2009)
Congratulations
to Laura Gallagher & Susie Kenna on their selection to
the Leinster U 16 Hockey Squad to play in the inter provincials
on 3rd & 4th October in Dublin.

also to Claire Foley on selection to the Leinster U 16 reserves.

Ireland School’s Sailing Competition (21st September
2009)
Many
Congratulations to the Team of Ian Byrne, Oisin O’Neill,
Moirin O’Neill, Susie Cannon, Declan Kickham, Josh McGrath
and Max Stevens on their outstanding achievement of finishing
3rd overall In the All Ireland School’s Sailing Regatta.
A
special word of congratulation to Ian Byrne who came 2nd in
the overall individual event.

6th Year for organising and facilitating this opportunity
for the students. Congratulations to all involved on another
remarkable achievement in sailing.
Coffee
Morning for Blackrock & Our Ladies Hospices (21st September
2009)
Many
thanks to all of the students and staff for their wonderful
work last Thursday morning in organising and supporting the
above event in which €1065 was raised.
A
special word of thanks to the 5th & 6th Year Students
as well as the 3B Science group who assisted in the preparation
of the event and in the clean up afterwards.
A
special word of thanks to Ms Catherine O’Dwyer for her
tireless work and for her enthusiasm in organising this event.
Results
of the St. Gerard’s School Inter-Schools Show Jumping
Event
(21st September 2009)
Many
congratulations to the five teams of St Gerard’s School
who participated so well in the St Gerard’s Interschool’s
Showjumping Competition last Saturday. This show was another
tremendous success with in excess of 140 competitors competing
and the top twelve making it through to the final jump off.
Many
congratulations to Scoil Mhuire, Trim, Co Meath who won the
competition. The results are as follows:
1st
place – Scoil Mhuire, Trim, Co Meath
2nd Place – Newbridge College, Co Kildare
3rd Place - Abbey Community College, Co Wicklow
4th Place – St. Gerard’s School
