St. Gerard's is a co-educational, lay Catholic school situated in Bray, Co. Wicklow. A total of 250 girls and boys attend the Junior School - from Montessori preschool to Standard 6. There is also a Secondary School on campus.
In St. Gerard’s Junior School, we take very seriously our responsibility of providing a broad-based education of excellence for our pupils, in an inclusive, challenging and exciting learning environment. Our aim is to enable each individual child to develop to their full potential and to help them to use their unique gifts and talents - in the classroom, on the sports field and in artistic performance.
Our Junior School is indeed a special place. We take great pride in the warmth of our school community - where pupils, parents and staff work together to create an engaging, dynamic and happy school environment.
Our school motto “Memor” – to be mindful – is at the heart of all we do and by combining our school’s wonderful tradition of Catholic education with all that is best in progressive education, we are truly a school of the twenty-first century, providing an outstanding, futures-oriented and well-rounded education – underpinned by the values of caring and kindness.
