It has been a busy and fun-filled term for the children in Senior Infants!
Inspired by the story ‘A Snowy Idea’ in our Zeb storybook, we built our own snow people with modelling clay. Olaf from Frozen also came to visit our class for the winter months and we have been taking turns bringing him home with us.
We have been tweeting all about our winter adventures with Olaf on Twitter! Click on the following link to see a short video clip of our pictures: Our Winter Adventures with Olaf
Each child also made their very own Olaf for our winter display outside our classroom. The children had great fun cutting out and rearranging Olaf’s body parts to make him look as funny as possible!
Senior Infants have been very busy preparing for their Christmas play too. We had our dress rehearsal on Tuesday and the children performed for their parents on Wednesday. All of the children were delighted with their performance on the big stage. Well done to all involved!
Santa came to visit Senior Infants on Thursday and we dressed up in our Christmas jumpers on Friday! Excitement levels are certainly at an all-time high at present! We are really looking forward to the break and we hope everyone has a SUPER Christmas!
