Congratulations to the Transition Year students on their wonderful production of Grease. The two matinees and the three evening performances grew in stature from production to production with the final performance outstanding.
The true challenge of the Transition Year Musical is to include 85 students on stage in a myriad of roles. Particular praise is due to the lead performers, who must be complimented on the amount of preparation which they put in to ensuring the excellence of their personal performances.
I sincerely congratulate and thank Ms. Jackie Olohan for her superb musical production and direction of Grease & to Ms. Ashling Doyle for her excellent choreography. To Ms. Katie Magee, thank you for the amazing backdrop and stage scenery production as always.
Many thanks to Sean Nolan, Gerry Murphy, Ger Darcy and Brendan Whelan for their work on stage production and to Ms. Ciara Ni Mhairtin and Ms. Eimear O’Regan for their co-ordination of the students over the last number of weeks. To Ms. Diane Owens many thanks for your musical contribution to the production.
I thank the whole school community for your support and contribution to the success of Grease. Well done to all involved on another magical production.
