Having received their Junior Certificate results the Transition Years headed off to Lough Dan on the annual camping trip. Three gruesome days roughing it in the great outdoors, climbing some of the highest mountains in Leinster and fending for oneself in the wild. It isn’t everybody’s idea of fun when you consider the cool evening weather conditions however the glorious days make up for it. It is a trip which has many shared happy memories and a trip that they all remember with great fondness into the future.
