Transition Year Musical Beauty & the Beast
Congratulations to the Transition Year students on their wonderful production of Beauty & the Beast. The three matinees and the three evening performances grew in stature from production to production with the final performance simply mesmerising!
The true challenge of the Transition Year Musical is to include 86 students on stage in a myriad of roles. Particular praise is due to our lead performers, who must be complimented on the professional preparation which they put in to ensuring the excellence of their own personal performances.
I sincerely congratulate and thank Ms. Jackie Olohan for her superb musical production and direction of Beauty & the Beast & to Ms. Ashling Doyle for her excellent production and choreography. To Ms. Katie Magee, our Art Teacher, thank you for your amazing backdrops and scenery production.
Many thanks to Sean Nolan, Gerry Murphy, Brendan Whelan and Ger Darcy for their work on stage production and to Ms. Ciara Ni Mhairtin and Ms. Niamh Aylmer for their co-ordination of the students over the last number of weeks.
I thank the whole school community for your support and contribution to the success of Beauty & the Beast. Well done to all involved on another magical and mesmerising production.
