The Junior School had great fun celebrating Roald Dahl Day on September 13th.
Pupils from Junior Infants to Std. 6 sported the colour yellow, Dahl’s favourite colour to commemorate one of our favourite authors on his birthday. Some of the boys and girls even dressed up as their favourite Roald Dahl characters!
The pupils and teachers gathered in the hall for an interactive Roald Dahl quiz before being treated to a story by our very own talented storyteller Mr. Mansfield, who read an extract from ‘The Minpins', much to everyone’s delight!.
What a great day topped off by a scrumdiddlyumptious Dairy Milk chocolate bar, Dahl’s favourite chocolate bar! Looking forward to next year already!
