At the beginning of the school year first year students are new to the school environment, it is always reassuring for them to have a friendly older student to turn to for advice. We link up the 1st year and 4th year students so that the older students can give support and friendly encouragement to the younger student. Where possible we match students with similar interests. The cáirde meet up informally and also for hot chocolate and cookies in the school dining hall a couple of times a year.
